Colin Cruikshank

Colin Cruikshank is the longest running continuous Quizmaster in Scotland, presenting weekly quizzes all over the country.

In addition to hosting quizzes, Colin has compiled Quizzes for many newspapers, including The Glasgow Herald, The Scotsman and The (Dundee) Courier. Colin has also co-written two quiz books, Junior Quiz Challenge and First Quiz Challenge.

Colin has appeared on a number of quizzes including 15 to 1, The Great British Quiz and Masterteam. His two main claims to fame in the quiz world are winning the BBC Scotland Quiz Superscot which made him the quiz champion of Scotland in 1990 and captaining 'Team 42' to victory on Eggheads in October 2016.

Colin's love of facts has made him an avid collector of quiz and reference books of which he has accumulated more than 1000 from all over the world.
